Heading up to the eastern Sierra Nevada mountains, first stop - north of Bishop - is the Wheeler Ridge area, with the prominent peak of Mt. Thom visible in a number of photos, and the vista point off the 395 where you can see much of the Owens Valley to the left, the gorge and Mt. Thom and Wheeler Ridge to the right. The other 2 photos are from the North Lake area, just north of Aspendell, east of Bishop.
