So, decided to do a drive from SR395, to the southeastern part of the Sierra Nevada range. First destination: Kennedy Meadows, a popular pack station and break spot on the Pacific Crest Trail, which winds 2,660 miles from the Mexican border to the Canadian. From there, up into the southernmost part of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and the Sequoia National Forest - a section known as Domeland Wilderness. As expected, lush alpine forests as granite peaks reveal themselves in the distance.
This blog chronicles my travels - mostly around my home state of California - but on rare occasions, other areas as well. Hopefully, these photos capture the majesty, grandeur, and breathtaking beauty of the landscapes I’ve witnessed firsthand on these trips over the last few years. Luckily, for me, it really doesn’t take much to heed the call of nature, to pull me from the comforts of home and to prepare for another grand adventure. So buckle up, plug in and strap in - we’re going for a ride.
